Name: Kazumi Kiba
Persona: Heirophant Yama
Arcana Association: Reverse Heirophant
History: Kazumi was a typical high school junior. He had good friends, especially Rihito and Itou, and went to the best high school in the city, Seven Sisters High (Seventh). Even while life was going on its usual way, Kazumi was haunted by dreams about a creepy man that kept asking for his name (this man is Philemon). One day, his good friend, Rihito, didn’t show up for class, so Kazumi went looking for him. That’s when everything went to hell for poor Kazumi and his power was awakened. Rihito tried to murder him, and unfortunately Kazumi got involved with a fight to protect the world.
Spoiler Warning!! When they were younger, Kazumi and Rihito had a friend named Mana that they met at Araya Shrine. Mana and Kazumi seemed close, but that was only because Kazumi and Mana were both very outgoing. Regardless of popular belief, they were never boyfriend and girlfriend (they were like ten back then). Anyway, when Mana died, Kazumi and Rihito both took it very hard and blamed themselves (even though it was a freak accident).
Personality Analysis: Kazumi is a very kind young man. He’s also naïve. He will avoid fighting until he gets hurt, and he will try to prevent others from fighting (like when he tried to stop Keito from fighting Kain). That’s why he’s reverse Heirophant. That stands for kindness to the point of foolishness, and that sums up his personality perfectly, until he matures. When he matures, he’s still very kind, but he isn’t afraid to fight in a situation that’s very dangerous.
Relationships: Through the series, Matsueda hints on three different relationships for Kazumi.

Relationships: Through the series, Matsueda hints on three different relationships for Kazumi.
- Itou: She is a lot like Lisa. She’s Kazumi’s self proclaimed girlfriend, and she’s intimidated by Rihito (like how Lisa was intimidated by Jun). She does everything in her power to discourage the rumors of Kazumi being in love with Rihito. When Kazumi gets depressed about Rihito, Itou comes to try to comfort him. She really is a good friend to him.
- Rihito: He is a lot like Jun. He’s an old friend to Kazumi, and he turns evil. He’s a pretty boy that works as a model for Nymphéa Japon. There are rumors of Kazumi being in love with him. Plus, they depend on each other a lot in the beginning. There’s a bit more evidence in the fact that Kazumi holds back when fighting Rihito (and it’s debateable if Rihito does the same). Plus, Kazumi always tries to talk to Rihito before fighting.
- Narui: Narui is more like Ulala than Maya, for the game fans. I just thought I’d point that out. Anyway, I can see how this would appeal to the Tatsuya/Maya fans because of the age difference, but really, there is no grounds for it. Narui is loud, immature, and scares Kazumi. Plus, I don’t think she likes him.
- Keito: I don’t know why, but I think there may be at least one Keito/Kazumi fan. This is a superficial relationship. It’s one of those "it’s fun to make him blush," situations. Keito is like that, and Kazumi was easily flustered around him at first, so that’s about the extent of it.
