I'm just curious. Katsuya seems like the ideal older brother in EP, but in IS he's portrayed as an *sshole. Baofu was the only other character that seemed to change drastically between the Other Side and This Side.

His brother is an authority figure and he is a little distant (in IS where he's trying to be a good cop). Tatsuya was pretty honest on everything else.
Actually, Baofu didn't change that much. You just actually get to see him (as Baofu instead of Kaoru Saga) in EP instead of chatting with him.

I can tell. There's a lot of things I like about both games and the likenesses and differences in the worlds.
The most drastic character differences are Jun and Junko, if memory serves right. He's not as distant and anti-social (he's just shy now), and she's not a super bitch, surprisingly. Again, if memory serves right, she decided that things just wouldn't work out between her and Akinari and they had a pretty mutal break up. She acts like a good mother, which is kind of scary.
